In his talk with anchorperson Kashif Abbasi during program ‘Off the Record’, the minister said the cost of the project reached up to Rs 58 billion due to the delay, out of which Rs 49 billion have been spent.
He said the National Accountability Bureau has kicked off investigations against former minister Babar Awan, upon the orders of the Supreme Court (SC).

He told that the audit of the project will be conducted by the Auditor General of Pakistan and a private company.
