According to details, the bus was heading from Karachi to Shahdadkot when it crashed into a truck near Jhirk area of Thatta.
At least nine people lost their lives in the incident whereas more than 40 people were reportedly injured.
Three children and women also lost their lives in the road accident.
Twelve of the wounded persons were rushed to medical facilities in Karachi whereas the rest of the victims are being treated in Hyderabad.
