MULTAN: A police constable named Rafiq was shot dead by unknown persons in Multan, ARY News reports on Tuesday.
Rafiq, serving duty at Mumtazabad Police Station, was returning home from duty when unknown persons riding a motorcycle fired upon him due to which he was killed on the spot.
Police cordoned off the area and started searching fort the attacker.
The body of the police constable was sent to Nishtar Hospital for post mortem.
