No one can dislodge PM with force, says Rafique

TOP NEWS

“Whatever is being demanded by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan has its solution in the parliament. Any attempt to siege parliament will not succeed,” he told while talking to media outside Parliament House.

He asked whether bringing baton-wielding brigade towards a parliament was democracy. “We went for a dialogue with protesting forces after the go-ahead from the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT)”.

He said, “We cannot allow a handful of people to held assembly hostage.” The army will protect the constitution, he added. Rafique said supporters of Imran Khan wasted their votes.

Government, he said, was showing flexibility therefore protesters must also flex their muscles too.

Imran’s statements hurt sentiments of the nation. The minister said all institutions were working within law and constitution.
