ISLAMABAD: Pakistan security officials said on Thursday they had arrested a top militant near the Afghan border but not a Pakistani Taliban leader who colleagues had identified last week as a man who once tried to blow up former president Pervez Musharraf.
MIRANSHAH: Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan sources have confirmed the arrest of their key commander Adnan Rasheed by Pakistan’s security forces, ARY News reported.
The Pakistani military has captured a high-ranking Taliban commander who once tried to blow up former president Pervez Musharraf and later escaped jail with hundreds of other prisoners, security officials said on Tuesday.
