ISLAMABAD: In another move seemingly aimed at ‘stifling’ women, the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) has proposed its own women protection bill, recommending ‘light beating’ for wives who defy their husbands.

KARACHI: Emir Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam – Fazl (JUI-F) Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman hinted that a movement for the rights of husband can be started, ARY News reported.
