The spokesperson admitted that a rise in the number of infections is witnessed in the province in September up to three per cent, however, it was not decided yet to impose micro-smart lockdown.
"We have tried our best for implementation of SOPs in the province. According to experts, the change in weather conditions increasing the number of coronavirus cases," Shahwani said.
In past six days the cases rate has reached to eight percent, while in previous 45 days the ratio of infections was at lower than five percent, Shahwani said.
Expressing concerns over violation of lockdown and rising number locally transmitted COVID-19 cases in Balochistan, the provincial government’s spokesperson Liaquat Shahwani on Tuesday warned that those people who will not wear face masks in public will be quarantined.
